How to run Apache and Node.js together (Reverse Proxy)

Open your Apache VHost then set the following instruction in your Apache VHost

Normal

ProxyRequests on
ProxyPass / http://localhost:3000/
ProxyPassReverse / http://localhost:3000/

Subdirectory

ProxyRequests on
ProxyPass /zodinet/ http://localhost:3000/
ProxyPassReverse /zodinet/ http://localhost:3000/

The final slash “/” is very important to make sure everything work
