I. Preparation

 

You need prepare your site with HTTPS before integrate with Messenger Widget

 

Go to your Facebook Management > Settings > Messaging
https://www.facebook.com/<page-name>/settings/?tab=messaging&ref=page_edit

 

 

Go to this section “Starting a Messenger Conversation”
Enable “Show a greeting” from OFF to ON

 

 

On section “Add Messenger to your website” click “Get Started” and do following steps

 

 

1. CHOOSE A DEFAULT LANGUAGE

 

click Next

 

 

2. APPEARANCE

 

click Next

 

 

3. ADD WEBSITE DOMAIN NAME

 

Add your website into whitelist domains

 

Copy code snippet to add into website via source code or GTM

 

click Finish

 

 

II. Add widget into your website

 

There are a lot ways to add widget into your website.

 

1. WordPress

 

Add them as Footer Widget, just copy above snippet code and paste them as Footer Widget as we did (Appearance > Widgets >

 

 

2. Magento

 

We can create new static block, and add them into any page with Widgets
